Sugar Lake is one Mexico’s finest older bass angling destinations!  Located only 30 minutes drive from the US border with no Visa or Vehicle Permits required makes this lake one of the easiest in all Mexico to access. Catches of  60 plus bass per day are not uncommon and the lake has been stocked extensively with Florida Genetics and double-digit bass are caught on a regular basis, with an 18+ pound beauty presently the Lake Record! The lake encompasses some 25,000 acres at pool elevation and is full of healthy, aggressive bass!

Hacienda Club Sugar

This Hacienda is one of the nicest and best maintained old style facilities on any Mexican Lake and is located on a point overlooking the lake. 

The Hacienda consists of 20 rooms with ample room for 80 anglers. There is a full service restaurant located on the water that serves some of the finest food in Mexico. All bedrooms are air conditioned, furnished with queen size beds, television, refrigerator, outside grill, private bathroom with large shower and plenty of hot water.  Daily maid service is provided.  There is a large swimming pool along with electrical outlets for charging boat batteries for drive-in customers.

Reservations

mailed with each confirmation with complimentary lake map. A 50% Deposit is required to secure all reservations and total payment is due 60 days before departure date.  A Passport or Birth Certificate are not required to fish this lake.
